The disconnected-panel problem
An AI storyboard can contain attractive individual frames while failing as a sequence. Characters, architecture, colour language and object placement may restart in every panel.
Define the visual grammar
Choose the production’s baseline aspect ratio, rendering style, lens family, contrast, palette and camera behaviour. These rules should remain stable unless the story deliberately breaks them.
Track state between panels
For each panel, write what enters, exits, moves, changes or becomes damaged. The next panel should inherit that state rather than relying on the generator to infer it.
Use recurring anchors
Place a few recognisable anchors in each location: a window shape, sign, dominant prop or colour relationship. Repeating anchors makes a space readable even when the camera angle changes.
Audit before animation
